This tee, being sheltered from the wind can catch out the unfamiliar player. With a large fairway stretching uphill and a dog leg right, into the green, players feel the need to open up and let the ball fly, but beware the plantation either side of the fairway and a fairway bunker on the right. A good second shot will be rewarded with a birdie opportunity but many will gladly accept a par on this testing hole.
